This CLE program will overall involve the panel discussing about the rise of Anti-Asian hate crimes during COVID-19, the current status of the Anti-Asian hate crimes, how have Anti-Asian Hate crimes been addressed in the communities thus far, and the problems encountered in addressing Anti-Asian hate crimes. This program will transition to introducing the attendees to restorative justice and how restorative justice has been used in the communities. The panel will also share their thoughts of how restorative justice measures could support combating or addressing Anti-Asian hate crimes. Finally, we’ll end with a Q&A session for the attendees.
