The Anti-Asian Violence Task Force has been engaged in research and advocacy to address the crisis in hate facing AAPI New Yorkers. In addition to authoring two reports on hate crime, task force members have also been presenting to numerous audiences to educate around these issues. Education is a vital, long-term part of achieving a better, more inclusive future. This panel will look at the explosion in efforts across the country to add Asian American Studies and Asian American History to our schools from K-12 education to law schools. Come hear from experts who have been in the trenches advocating in state legislatures, teaching, developing curricula and analyzing trends.
