Tai H. Park

Partner, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP

Mr. Park is a Partner in the New York office of the international law firm, Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP, who specializes in white collar criminal and regulatory defense, as well as complex commercial litigation. He is a co-founder and co-chair of the Alliance for Asian American Justice (“AAAJ”), a consortium of over 90 major law firms and 20 General Counsels of Fortune 500 companies that was formed in the wake of the recent escalation in violence against Asian Americans. In this capacity, Mr. Park coordinates the work of the AAAJ, including assignment of law firm litigators to victims of anti-Asian violence or threats of violence nationwide to ensure that such victims have legal counsel to help vindicate their rights as victims.

Mr. Park is a graduate of Columbia University where he obtained his B.S. in Philosophy, and the New York University School of Law where he obtained his JD. He served for ten years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York. Among other roles, he was chief of the Narcotics Unit as well as Senior Trial Counsel in the Securities & Commodities Fraud Task Force at the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining Quinn Emanuel, Mr. Park was a partner at Shearman & Sterling, as well as a co-founding partner of Park Jensen Bennett, and partner at White & Case LLP.  Mr. Park is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
