Supervising Attorney, Housing Works
Sina Choi is a Supervising Attorney with Housing Works. She joined this healing community as a Staff Attorney in June 2013, and focuses on housing and benefits cases for clients. Prior to joining Housing Works, she did similar work at CAMBA Legal Services in Brooklyn for a number of years, representing low-income individuals facing eviction. Sina also conducts civil rights litigation to combat the sadly prevalent housing discrimination that many of her clients suffer on a daily basis. As part of the 2018 Conference hosted by the Project for Integrating Spirituality, Law and Politics at the American University Law School, she spoke on a panel addressing the importance of Contemplative Practice in social justice lawyering, and she has formerly served on the Steering Committee of the Brooklyn Tenant Lawyers Network. She received her J.D. at the City University of New York (CUNY) Law School and a B.A. at Columbia University.
