Founder, The Law Office of Evelyn Gong, PLLC
Evelyn Gong is the founder of The Law Office of Evelyn Gong, PLLC. Her practice is dedicated to serving leaders in public interest, politics, and forward-thinking enterprises.
Evelyn’s experience working on voter protection and voting access issues extends to national as well as local political campaigns. In 2016, Evelyn served as in-house counsel for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, where she handled voter protection matters in key battleground states.
Subsequently, Evelyn was Senior Attorney at Perkins Coie LLP, in the firm’s Political Law Group, where she represented Democratic party committees, political action committees, federal- and state-level candidates, members of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, as well as non-profits, including charities and issue organizations. Evelyn’s work there included developing a post-election shadow canvass program for President Joe Biden’s campaign and the Democratic coordinated campaign.
More recently, Evelyn handled election protection matters for a mayoral campaign in New York City. Evelyn’s passion for voting rights was ignited as a law student in 2006, when Evelyn organized fellow law students to volunteer for AALDEF’s Asian American Election Protection and Poll Monitoring project.
